This is post is one that is not like most of mine since majority are about drinking games instead this is one about a place that I recommend that you go to for a night out. I just went there for the first time and it was a lot of fun with all of my friends especially since they have a college student discount on Wednesday nights. It is called Hollywood Palms Cinema it is the most amazing theater that I have ever been to. It is located in Naperville in Illinois. I know you must be thinking come on it is just a theater how cool could it possibly be. But this theater is different the inventers really nailed it. Most people go and see dinner and a movie so they combined the two for people who have less time on their hands but still want to do both now they can. Hollywood Palms is decorated like different parts of Hollywood this is the part that makes it cool also each theater that you go into has a different theme the one that I was in was the purple room and it had every character you could imagine such as tinker bell, the three chipmunks even the incredible hulk another theater they have completely set up with a Wizard of Oz theme. I recommend this place also because they have some really amazing drinks. Also all there menu items have a play on words and have fun names in them as well such as Freddy Fingers (chicken strips) and one of their drinks is called the Bad Witch. Drink Jenga
The way that everyone I know has played this is they bought an original Jenga box and write on the pieces something to do on each piece some of them are blank also. They will write things on the wooden pieces such as drink for 3 seconds usually the numbers 1 to 15 are on there so that will take care of 15 of the blocks also they have another fifteen blocks say give out drinks and once again these are labeled from 1 to 15. Then there is usually one that says take a shot and one that says give a shot. The rest you can leave blank or put anything else on it that you would like such as waterfall. Then you play like you would regularly play Jenga you take out one piece at a time if you are able to pull the piece out you do what the piece says and you place it on top however if you are unsuccessful and you must drink a whole beer or take a shot you need to establish this before the game starts. What I mean by unsuccessful is if you knock over the tower and it collapses then you lose. You also are the one who has to rebuild the tower for the next round.
I rate this game at a 9 out of 10 because a lot of people can play also you were able to choose what you wanted to write on the blocks so you have some control over the game. It is a lot of fun and I recommend that you play it.

Crazy 8's
Crazy 8’s is similar to the game of Uno but is a little different if you have never played it. You can play it with a regular deck of cards. The object is to get rid of all of your cards before your opponent does such. Expecially since whoever wins the other one has to finish the rest of their drink right on the spot. If you are playing with more than two people as a person goes out they pick a person to finish their drink and they have to get a new one so they can finish the game until they are the last one or until all their cards are gone whichever happens first. Also if you put down an 8 (wild) then you pick what suit you would like as well as who has to drink. Now that we have the drinking rules down I will go over the rest of the rules in case you have never played crazy 8’s or Uno before. Each person is delta out 7 cards then the dealer puts the rest in the center as well as flips a card up now the next person (whoever is sitting next to the dealer clockwise) has to match the flipped up card if it is a 7 of hearts they have to put down a heart or a 7 they may also put down an 8 since an 8 is a wild card that is able to be played at any time.
I rate this game at a 3 out of 10 because it is just ok there is nothing about it that makes it that amazing but it is a nice and easy game also you can have as many people as you want play.
Beer Olympics
Beer Olympics is another thing that you can kind of do as a themed party and or event. This is usually an all day event that many people do not make it through and breaks will need to be taken since everyone ends up getting extremely intoxicated just a warning I am telling you before you decide to go and do this. You just need to pick a bunch of your favorite drinking games and play them. Make sure that you have a lot of beer some common choices are flippy cup, beer pong, also you can do a keg toss (see who can toss a keg the farthest). You can have a relay and have the first person drink a beer then run to the next and then they have to drink there beer and then so on until they get to the last player and that player must cross the finish line. Get medals and or prizes for each place 1st , 2nd and 3rd or you can have each place be worth so many points and then at the end of the day the top three point scores can get the medals if there is a tie you can have a tie breaker challenge such as something simple like drinking a beer. Beer Hunt
Beer hunt is originated off of Easter egg hunts that are done around Easter. Have everyone bring a six pack of cold beer that is coming and then when they get there (have them all try to show up around the same time so the beers do not get warm) everyone has to hide three of their beers and stick the other three in the fridge for other games later. Then once everyone has hid the beers (make sure everyone labels the beers so you know who’s beer is who’s) everyone is to start looking for other beers once you find one whoever’s beer that you find they have to stop looking and then they are to drink the beer that you found. Once all three of your beers are found you are knocked out and are no longer allowed to look. Also you cannot look while you are drinking a beer so drink it quickly. The last person left wins and gets to enjoy the remaining beers at their leisure. Another variation of this is to label one of your three beers as drink and whoever finds that one has to drink it that way it slows some people up who are really good at finding other people’s beers instead of you always having to drink when yours gets found. The only thing is many people do not hide those beers as well as their other beers.
I rate this game at 6 out of 10 because you can have as many people as you want play. The only thing is you are consuming a lot of alcohol in a short period of time if you did not hide your beers well which means you will be pretty much intoxicated at the beginning of the party.
Irish Poker
For Irish poker you need a deck of cards one person is the dealer and everyone is dealt a card. NO ONE is to look at their card yet. The good part about this game is the dealer gets to play as well and they cannot look at their card either.
Then each person in a circle guesses if there card is red or black if they guess correctly then they give out drinks a 5 would be 5 drinks they can split this up such as 2 to one and 3 to another or one person can get 5. If they guessed wrong then they have to drink for 5 seconds (all numbers are the number they say, jack is 10 queen is 11 king is 12 ace is only 1).
Next the person guesses higher or lower than the first card that they have ace is low. Once again if they are correct then they give out if they are wrong then they take as many as the new card shows. If the card is identical to the card you had last time you have to drink 2 times the amount on the card. So 5 would be 10.
Next is in or out do you think the next card is in between your two current cards or outside of so if you had a 5 and a 9 (6,7,8 would be inside but ace through 4 would be out also jack queen and king would be out) if you are correct you give out if you are wrong you take. And once again same is drink that amount times 2
Last card you have to guess what suit your next card is going to be (Clubs, Spades, Hearts, Diamonds) and give or take your drinks accordingly.
Lastly make your train it goes in 1 rows of 4 cards and 1 of 5 the top row is give the bottom is take you flip each card over one at a time and if anyone has that number they give or take depending on if the card is on the top or the bottom the 5th card that makes the rows uneven is the worst whoever has that number has to drink a full can of beer on the spot.

apples to apples
Apples to apples is a game that comes in a box at the store. It was not originally a drinking game however many of my friends love the game so much and play it often that they turned it into a drinking game. You can do this to if there is a game that you play often with your friends you just have to make up rules for it just like any game. In apples to apples each person is dealt 7 red cards these cards you will keep and get rid of only one card each round and then you will be able to pick one up each time as well. (if I do not explain the beginning well enough there are directions in the box) There is one caller and this rotates each round. The caller picks up the top green card then reads it and puts it down now every other player is to pick which red card they think goes best with the green card (example the green card might say “funny” if you had a red card that said clown you might choose this one) each player puts the card they choose face down in the center of the table face down so no one can see it, everyone but the caller puts a card in. The caller then picks their favorite one(make sure to mix up the cards so you don’t know who’s card is who’s) the card that is picked does not have to drink and nor does the caller everyone else must drink then the next person to the right of the caller picks a green card up and the process is repeated.
I rate this game at a 7 out of 10 it is fun game that does not require skill it is a game everyone can play and it also has a chance factor since some people pick the one that fits best others pick whatever is the most off.
Beergammon
Beergammon is based off of the game backgammon it is a game that is played in my family and that is how I came across this one. It is only for two people to play just like the original game of backgammon and it is played the same general rules as well the only differences really are things such as when you capture one of your opponents pieces so they have to start back on the other side of the board they have to drink for each piece the you capture. If a player rolls doubles then the other person has to drink two times. On first blood the person has to drink 5 times and then for every piece that you put into your home your opponent has to drink. The rules and the game is really simple that is if you know how to play the game backgammon. If you do not know how to play the game of backgammon I would not recommend that you play since you will most likely lose. If you are back gammoned or gammoned you also have to drink.
I rate this game at 5 out of 10 because it is pretty average and is just ok I also think that another down fall about it is that you can only have 2 people play at a time. If you have a big group of people then this is definitely not an ideal game to choose unless you had a bunch of the games since you could do a tournament.

Power Hour
Power hour may be the simplest game when it comes to drinking that has ever been created it is however not the smartest one. It is actually an extremely bad idea but I will still talk about it since I am trying to be unbiased enough to list games that I do not like. Just because I do not like it does not mean that everyone dislikes it some people love this game for a pregame and it basically should just be called get drunk as quickly as possible but here is how it goes. Following this is a group of you tube links in order to how they are to be played it will count to 60 for you along with playing music for you. You can choose any one you want or even make your own just make sure it is an hour long. Also make sure that it counts down for you each minute since it is easier when it keeps track for you since as time goes on the more intoxicated you will get and you will stop keeping track of every minute. You will also need beer and a shot glass for each person that is playing. The games is simple you are to take one shot of beer every minute. This may sound simple and at first it is but then when you think about it you will be doing 60 shots in an hour that is a lot of alcohol really fast. It depends on the size of the shot glass but that is a little over 7 beers in an hour. I do not recommend or encourage this game because most people puke and it is a game that is basically asking for your liver to die and hate you. I would rate this game a 1 out of 10 just because the concept of it is stupid the whole goal is to make it to the end which many people do not.

Bar Louie
One of my favorite places to go that I wanted to share with you is Bar Louie if you have been there before then you know what I am talking about. I just met up with some friends there today and I remembered how good their drinks were so I thought I would let all of you guys know so you too can enjoy their drinks. If you have not yet noticed I love martinis and Bar Louis definitely has the best and most amazing honey dew martini that I have ever had. However the catch is to watch out on how many you drink because they taste so good that you forget they are martinis and many people that I know have taken too many. They also have an apple martini which is also very good but I am very partial to the Honey Dew Martini since it was my first drink there and I instantly fell in love. I have trouble switching over and trying anything else of theirs since the Honey Dew Martini is so amazing. I have many friends though that enjoy other drinks of theirs along with the apple and honey martini. Bar Louie has great food for everyone to enjoy and it is a nice place to just sit down relax and get together with some friends. I have also noticed that the waitresses and waiters seem to always be in a good mood no matter what day or the time which I think is very important since a waiter can really make your night.

Garbage
I was just introduced to the game garbage over the weekend what you will need is a regular deck of cards and everyone needs a drink of their choice. Make sure you shuffle up all of your cards and then each player gets dealt ten cards each. Each player places the cards in front of them in two rows of five cars each. All of these cards are to be face down so that no one can see them even the person whose cards they are no one is to see the cards. The rest of the cards are to go into the center of the table. Whoever goes first picks a card off the top of the pile and if they get a one (being an ace) through ten places that card where it would go in there rows 1 threw 5 is the top row and 6 through ten is the second row. So if you picked up a 5 then you would put it on the top right of your pile in the first row last column then pick up that card and if that card fits somewhere in your pile then you keep it and put it there you keep doing this until you get a card you already have then you pass it to the person on your right then they get to use it unless they already have it as well then it gets passed again until someone needs it and then it is their turn. If you get a queen, jack or a king it is garbage and you put it in the center your turn is over and you for each card you take a drink jack-2, queen-3 and king is 4 also you take one drink if you had to pass your card since you already had that number. The winner is the first one to be able to flip over all their cards face up one through ten. I would rate this game a 4 out of ten because it is not the greatest drinking game but it is one that is decent.
Uno
I am sure that you are all familiar with the game of Uno however if you are not any box of Uno will tell you the rules on it. My friends and I last year changed the game that we all know and love into a drinking game. It is now one of our favorite games that we play all of the time now. You may be wondering how exactly we did this well you are in luck since I am going to tell you and the best part about it is how simple it actually is to play just like the original game is. You get the same amount of cards and the rules are the same as the original with a few twists such as a draw 2 you drink 2 and a draw 4 you take a shot. Also if someone puts down a draw 2 then you can put a draw 2 down on top of it and so can the next person and then whoever does not have a draw 2 gets stuck drinking that many times so if three people in a row had a draw 2 then that person would have to drink 6. Draw 4 is different and you cannot put them on top of each other to “save yourself.” The other rule that is different is that every time the reverse card comes up the person that it reverses to has to drink. Lastly the skip, whoever gets skipped gets to give out a drink to whomever they would like other then the person that skipped them.
I rate this game a 9 out of 10 since I enjoy it a lot it is also extremely easy to understand and you can have a bunch of people playing it if you would like to.

Drinking Games are inexpensive
Drinking games do give you the great aspect of being able to meet new people by networking and socializing. However that is not the only thing that is good about it. Another great thing about it is that majority of the things that you need in order to play drinking games can be found around your house so they are extremely convenient. Also if you do not have them they are cheap if you had to go and pick them up. Many things that you need to play are as follows, a deck of cards many people have decks of cards laying around there house everywhere. Also shot glasses now not everyone may have these but they are extremely common around college campuses and if you do not have one and need one to play a game I am sure you would only have to knock on one neighbor’s door and they would have one that you would be able to borrow from them. Most games use red solo cups these are very inexpensive and you can get them at some stores in huge packs such as Costco and Sams Club they come in packages of about 200 that is a lot of cups and they are really cheap and with these you can play games such as flippy cup and beer pong. For beer pong all you need are the cups a table and some ping pong balls. Ping pong balls are usually a couple dollars for a package of them. So other then the alcohol drinking games do not cost that much and they can add so much more to your party.
LCR
Left, Right, Center is a game that my family started playing a while ago after they were introduced to it on one New Years Eve. Every person puts in three dollars you will also need three dice you can actually get dice that have an L, C, R on them along with a dot if you cannot find these you can make certain numbers the letters such as 6 is L, 5 is a R, 4 is C and one threw three are dots. You will also need to put a cup in the center. Each person has a drink all of them you probably want the same since you do not want to be mixing drinks and you will go in a circle whoever starts rolls as many dice as they have dollars (so at the start everyone has 3 dollars so you will roll 3 dice) then you do what the dice tell you to do each dice represents what you are to do with one of your dollars also what you are to do with drinks, if you get a dot you get to keep your dollar and no drinks are given out taken for that die, if it is an R this means the person on your right has to take a drink but also gets a dollar same for the person on your left for an L . If you get a C your dollar goes in the center of the table and you get to pour as much as you want into the center cup of beer (or drink of choice). Then your turn is over. If you run out of dollars you have to chug the center cup if anything is in it. If there is nothing in it you just got lucky. The winner is the person who ends up with that last dollar. Also remember you are not out once you run out of dollars since the person next to you could still pass it to you.
I would rate this game at a 7 out of 10 because it is pure luck and does not take a bunch of talent to play.

Abc Party
A fun thing to do when you are having a party is to have a theme to it. This could be so many different things be creative when you are coming up with your theme and make it something fun that you and everyone else will enjoy. If it is not something that you are going to want to dress up as you are not going to have any fun doing it so do not pick that as a theme. One of the most common ones going around campus these days is an ABC party which does not have anything to do with the alphabet even though that is what comes to mind when one hears it. ABC stands for Anything But Clothes party no this does not mean that everyone is nude. It does however mean that everyone has to get creative in what they wear. It is as easy as it sounds you are literally allowed to wear anything but clothes so no jeans and t-shirts. However you have to make your clothes you can do this out of anything, duct tape, shrink wrap, fake flowers, a towel are just some of the many examples that can be offered. Out of whatever item you select to make your outfit out of you have to make clothes that could be a dress, skirt, pants and a shirt you can make whatever you would like. Some people use trash bags or caution tape which does not usually work out as well. This is a fun party idea just so see what everyone comes up with and even people who use the same items still come up with very different outfits.
Quarters
The game quarters is most possibly one of my least favorite drinking games that are out there. This is probably because I am so bad at it no matter what tricks people show me. They never seem to work for me at least but there are people out there that like this game because of its simplicity but also because they unlike me are good at it. All you need is an alcoholic drink of choice to pour into the shot glasses that you also need. Lastly you need people to play along with quarts but that was pretty obvious because of the name of the game. You can play that each person gets a shot glass or that there is only one shot glass in the center of the table. If you are playing where each person gets a shot glass then each person takes a turn trying to get a quarter into whoever’s glass that they want to aim for if they make it that person has to drink and they get another chance at someone else. They keep getting to shoot until they miss. Then the next person gets to go. Or you can play where there is one glass in the middle and whoever makes it in gets to choose who has to drink and once again they continue to get the quarter into the glass until they miss. This may sound easy but I have yet to mention the hardest part and that is that the quarter first has to be bounced off the table to make it into the glass. This is a whole lot harder than you would think that it would be. I have heard that the lower that you release it to the table that the higher you will get it along with more control of the quarter me on the other hand nothing works for and I have never made a quarter in.
I would rate this game at a 2 out of 10 but I really do believe that is just because I am so bad at it. I cannot seem to figure out the proper technique so I believe that quarters is a love/hate game (you either love it or hate it).

Circle of Death
Circle of Death is a fun game to play with a group of people and once again this is a great game since you can have as little as two people play and us to as many as you want what you will need is a cup in the center of the table and a deck of cards that you will place around the cup in a circle like pattern. Then each player will pick up a card one at a time and each card means something different and they must follow that rule the rules are as follows…… the numbers one threw six if its red you must drink for that many seconds, if its black you get to tell that many people to drink this can be given to whoever you want or you can split it up ( if you had a black 6 you could give one person 3 and another 3) the number 7 is ladies drink and the number 8 is guys drink. Now the fun cards start coming up card number 9 is rhyme the dealer picks a word and in a clockwise circle the next person must rhyme the word, and then the first person that pauses or repeats a word drinks. 10 the person to the left of you drinks and a jack it is the person to your right that drinks. Queen you have to pick a category such as types of pop (Pepsi, Coke, Dr. Pepper)and the same rules apply as rhyming the first person to screw up and pause or repeat drinks. King the first three that are pulled get to pour as much beer as they want into the center cup as they want however whoever gets the fourth card has to drink everything that ends up being in the cup. Lastly is the ace which is a waterfall- whoever pulls the ace states which way the waterfall is going to go right, or left, and everyone starts drinking on the count of 3 when the person who pulls the card stops drinking the person who is next can stop when they please and so on but you must drink as long as the person before you is so if your last it is very unfortunate for you.
I rate this game at about 8 out of 10 because it is an easy game and as many people as you have at your party can play if they would want to. It is also a very easy game to understand and to play. It is also funny listening to people try to come up with words that rhyme with the word that was chosen and people trying to think of things in categories.
Wine Tasting
A wine tasting party is a fun way to get everyone together. Just get some bottles of wine and invite some of your neighbors and friends over. Now at first you might be thinking that this is going to cost me a lot of money but there are all different types of wine that range in all different prices. I have come across a wine brand called Arbor Mist it is extremely reasonably priced and it comes in many different flavors. I personally like the Blackberry Merlot I would have to say that this is my favorite flavor of theirs. However many of their flavors are very good they also have a white zinfandel that is a fruity one which tastes very good as well. Now back to the wine tasting party if you do not want to buy all the wine just have everyone bring a bottle of their choice and you can get a variety that way and you only have to buy a few bottles of wine on your own then I would buy two or three just to be safe in case someone does not end up bringing one this way you do not run out. I have had wine tasting parties before and they are a very good time it is nice to just get a group of people together and catch up with people you have not talked to in a while. It is also a lot of fun when someone brings someone new so you get to meet them to. Also wine tastings are usually a smaller group of people which is nice one the days that you do not want to have a huge party but you still want to get some people together.

Networking
Some people say that drinking games are bad because some encourage binge drinking. However I do not agree with this since no one is forcing you to drink or to play it is your choice. Drinking games are a great way to socialize and to meet new people. If your just moving into your apartment inviting your neighbors over for some games is fun for everyone and it allows you to meet your neighbors so you make some new friends but you also have a neighbor that you can rely on to help you in case something ever happens such as being locked out of your apartment or if you run out of something in the middle of making dinner if you know your neighbors they are more likely to loan you something then if you have never met them. Also it is nice meeting more people especially where you live so that everyone can help each other out. It is great to make friends with your neighbors because when you have them over they are more likely to invite you over next time they have a party and then you will meet more people. This is a great way to start networking. Especially in today’s society every ones success is based off of who they know lately in the recession. Most of the people that I know that have jobs only have them because of who they know. When you are in college these are the people who are going to be the next generation working that is going to be hiring people eventually. You want to be able to meet as many people as you can to be successful in your future and drinking games and parties can be the start of this.
Casino
So today I was thinking about different themes to have for a party and then I thought about having a casino themed party. However instead of playing regular casino games you could pick a bunch of different drinking games. You can set up one table and have flippy cup going. Then the next table you can have people playing beer pong. One table can have people playing circle of death then another can have quarters or Irish poker set up on them and then everyone can go to different tables and play different games. Also with a set up like this everyone is sure to find a game that they like and would like to play and if they cannot find one then they can start another game of their choice somewhere else. I do believe that it would work out really well though just because there are so many different things that people can do and that no one will get board at your party. I cannot wait to be able to try this idea out to see if it works out as well as I believe it will. The only thing I worry about is not being able to have a person at each table to run the different games and if I leave it just for people to play if everyone will play what they want to play.

Video Games and Movies

This blog just proves that you can make anything into a drinking game. In his blog he talks about the rules to a drinking game that is based off of a video game. It is pretty in-depth and you should check it out it’s an idea that is different then you usual drinking games. This is good because it is good to change up from your regular games all the time. If you always play the same things you will get board after a while. So if you do not feel like going out or having a bunch of people over you can just have fun with a few. Also if it’s a holiday weekend where many people went home you can play a game similar to the one talked about in his blog. Also another option if you are not into video games that much like me is to do it with a movie and have certain words require you to do different things or drink. This can be as easy as drinking every time they say a main characters name or you can just pick random words. Games like these really do not have set rules since it depends on the game or the movie that you are playing. Get creative with it but be smart don’t chug a beer every time they say a main characters name this will not end in a good night for you at all as well as your guests.

Spoons
This is a very fast paced game that is just a lot of fun to play and it’s really simple. All you need is a deck of cards and one less spoon then you have people playing. So if you had 5 people playing you only need 4 spoons. You do not have to play with spoons you can play with anything that you can grab it can be beer cans or forks anything that you have enough of that will not hurt someone.
The object is to get 4 of a kind and or grab a spoon. This is best played with large groups of people with about 4 or more but you can play with less. If you have a very large group about 10 or more you might want to play with two decks of cards so the game goes by quicker.
· To start place the spoons in a line in the middle of all the players
everyone will be around the spoons forming a circle is the easiest and this can be played on the floor or on a table.
· Next the dealer will pass each person 4 cards face down now your set up is complete. Now to start the game (remember one less spoon then there are players)
· the dealer picks another card off the deck and passes it if the dealer wants it to help him get his 4 of a kind he keeps it and passes another card if not pass that card each player may only hold on to 4 cards in their hand at a time
· once someone gets a 4 of a kind they are to grab a spoon immediately, once a spoon is grabbed everyone can grab one
· Whoever does not get a spoon loses and they are out of the game this individual since they lost has to take a shot.
· Then one spoon is taken out and you repeat the same rules as about until there is only one spoon and 2 people and the person who ends up with the spoon last wins.
I would rate this game at a 7 out of 10 it is a good game since there is an unlimited amount of people that can play but once someone is out they are out of the game which makes it tough to keep everyone involved. It is really funny though since there are no rules when it comes to how you get a spoon and many people end up wrestling for spoons since they do not want to be knocked out of the game.

Beer Pong
This is one of my favorite games it might just be because I am good at it and because everywhere you go in a college town you can find people that are playing it. It is a game that can be very entertaining also. It is good because you can make it into a tournament type of game and have a lot of people involved. Some people have parties strictly off of a theme of a Beer Pong Tournament. This is a fun idea just have people bring a partner and get some huge posters and as people arrive add them to the brackets that you have created. I have seen people make trophies for the winner of the tournament and the trophies are a lot of fun since they are made out of beer cans many times.
Most people are familiar with the game beer pong but in case you are unaware I will explain it as simply as possible.
Need:
Table
20 cups (such as red solo cups)
2 other cups for water
2 ping pong balls
You will have 2 teams playing at a time each team has 2 players and is as opposite ends of the table. Each team gets 11 cups one for water to dip the ball in the other 10 is to make a triangle with just like bowling pins are lined up like on your end of the table. Then fill the cups to the desired about with Beer.
If you are playing at someone else’s house ask them what their house rules are since there are a lot of rules that some people follow others do not so I am just going to go over the basics that almost every place will have. If you are the host make sure you know what rules you want to play with. To decide who goes first a player from each team has a ping pong ball and looks the other straight in the eye and shoots without looking at the cups only at the opponent and whoever makes it in first gets to go first. From there both players on a team shoot one ball each at the opponents’ cups trying to make it in kind of like bozo buckets. If you make a ball in a cup the other team has to drink that cup, if you bounce the ball in the other team has to drink two cups. You want to be the one with cups left in the end, the loser is whoever loses there cups first. Also if both team mates make their ball into the cup they get them back and get to shoot again. Also for the last cup both balls have to be made in otherwise the other team gets a redemption type of chance where they get to shoot till they miss. If they miss then the other team wins. Also if a ball is bounced you can block it but if it is just shot you may not block the ball. Good luck playing!
Lemon Drop Martini
· It was such a hot day out today it reminded me of some nice cool and refreshing drinks. I personally love Martinis a lot but not everyone does but if you do here is another one for you it’s called a lemon drop martini. You will need vodka any will work but I prefer six vodka also lemons, lemon juice and triple sec also optional is sugar. At some stores you can get lemon flavored sugar to edge your glass in this is what I personally like the best. First you take your lemon and cut it then you get the edge of your rim wet with the lemon by putting it on the edge and going around the glass then you dip it into your lemon sugar. Next get your drink shaker out and put
· 1.25 oz. of six vodka (or your choice)
· .25 oz. triple sec
· .75 oz. lemon juice
Then shake it up and pour it into your glass and enjoy. This is a great drink to just have when you are lying out by the pool since it has the nice refreshing taste similar to lemonade. I was first introduced to them at a friend’s birthday party where she was talking about how amazing they were so I had her make me one and it really was as good as she said. Also there are many other recipes out there and you can tweak any recipe to your liking also some stores sell lemon drop martini mix so if you are having a party it might be easier to just pick that up and add you choice of alcohol to it. Flippy Cup
This game is great because it can have as little as 2 people playing to over 20people. The only important thing is that you have an even number of players. Also the only think you need to play is a table and cups such as solo cups and beer. The set up is to put equal teams on each end of the table in a line. Then each person gets a cup this cup is to be filled to a desired amount usually to about the first line in a solo cup. To start the game the first person in line on each team is to pick up their cup tap it with the opponents then tap it on the table once the cup taps the table drink the beverage as quickly as possible. Once the content is gone you are to with one finger flip over your cup (place cup half on edge of table and flip over with one finger). Once you get your cup to flip over and land upside down the next payer drinks and does the same. This game is like a relay race whichever team finishes first wins.
I would rate this game pretty average about 6 out of 10. I think that it is a fun and easy game but there are a lot more games out there that are more fun. In my personal experience it is also a good game to do guys vs. girls since the teams are not to uneven and it’s a game where both genders are pretty even at.
Icing
Today I was reading an article about a new game called Icing I personally find this to be one of the most pointless games invented. It is however a way to get intoxicated extremely quickly. From an article on http://www.jointogether.org/news/headlines/inthenews/2010/icing-drinking-game-goes.html it is said to be “A modification of "tag" involving alcohol, players "ice" one another by handing off a warm Smirnoff Ice malt beverage, which must then be consumed on one knee immediately, regardless of the setting.”
There are rules these are that once you get “iced” (handed a Smirnoff Ice) you must chug it immediately. Also if the person handed the Smirnoff has one on them the person that tried to ice them just got caught and has to chug both of them immediately. I have never played this game however I do not believe I would like it since it really does not involve any skill at all other then hiding a bottle on you. Also another huge downfall is the drink is supposed to be warm… who wants warm alcohol that is just like torture what is the fun in that? Also Smirnoff is not taking any credit for this game even though many people think they caused the start of it. It will increase Smirnoff’s business but it will not look good if many more people are getting alcohol poisoning because of a game like this that could easily been made with any alcoholic beverage. I highly disprove of this game because there is no skill involved in this game as well as there is nothing good that can come from a trend of this game unlike beer pong. Beer pong does not harm people in the same way since people are not indulging as quickly.

Civil
This game is meant for 6 people. It is played similar to beer pong however there are two teams of three players each. You will need the following things to play this game….
· 3 Ping Pong Balls
· A table
· 18cups
· Beer to fill the cups with
· A minimum of 6 people
Set up: on opposite ends of the table set up 3 separate triangles (3 cups in a 2-1 pattern) one in the middle and one on each corner. There should be a total of 6 triangles now on the table. Now fill cups to desired amount…. Usually less than half a cup
To play: Each person has a triangle made of three cups they are to start standing behind there cups. Paper, scissors, rock for which side gets 2 ping pong balls the losing side gets only 1 to start. At the start anyone can aim for any cup they would like on opposite side of table if they make it in that person has to drink there cup the person who is drinking has to finish their drink before they can continue playing once all three of an individual’s cups has been shot in they are out of the game. This continues the whole game you can take anyone out that you want by making it into their cups before you get knocked out yourself. Unlike in beer pong it is a constant moving game in civil there is no stopping until there are no cups left on one side of the table this is when the team that still has cups left wins. Balls are all fair game if they bounce back grab them and throw them again it is to your advantage to never stop throwing since the faster you go the more chances you have at making it. So one a ball is thrown you should get it as fast as possible and shoot at your opponents cups.
This is a fast paced game that gets everyone moving and is good for a larger group of people. I really enjoy this game and every first time player I have seen enjoys it also and usually doesn’t want to stop playing. This game is better to have a lot of room since there is constant running around. I like it more than beer pong because it is constant movement and more people get to play at once. Also people can come back a lot quicker in Civil which makes it more fare even with teams that are matched unevenly talent wise.
I would rate this game an 8 out of 10 only downfall is if you do not have enough people or the space to play.

What I am about
I have played my fair share of drinking games over the past few years and I want to share them with you so that on any given day when you want to play a new one you can pick one on here. I am going to try to talk about a different game every other day and tell you about the game and how it is played. Also I will try to learn about some new games and I will tell you how those go as well. I hope that this will be a fun experience for everyone. I believe that it is a great idea for people to share the games that they know because all though some games are very common others are not thought of much or played often because people do not know of them and sometimes these are the best. I will list all kinds of games some that are for small groups as little as two people can play others where many people can play even a whole party. This way you will be able to entertain yourself as well as your guests that you have no matter how many people end up showing up. It is very common for more people to show up then you even expected especially on a Friday night in college and sometimes no one wants to play the normal drinking games that everyone knows they want something that is new and exciting. Well I will post a game later today it’s called Civil if you have never heard about it well it’s kind of a variation of beer pong but you’re going to have to just wait to get more information about it later.
