Hollywood Palms Cinema

This is post is one that is not like most of mine since majority are about drinking games instead this is one about a place that I recommend that you go to for a night out. I just went there for the first time and it was a lot of fun with all of my friends especially since they have a college student discount on Wednesday nights. It is called Hollywood Palms Cinema it is the most amazing theater that I have ever been to. It is located in Naperville in Illinois. I know you must be thinking come on it is just a theater how cool could it possibly be. But this theater is different the inventers really nailed it. Most people go and see dinner and a movie so they combined the two for people who have less time on their hands but still want to do both now they can. Hollywood Palms is decorated like different parts of Hollywood this is the part that makes it cool also each theater that you go into has a different theme the one that I was in was the purple room and it had every character you could imagine such as tinker bell, the three chipmunks even the incredible hulk another theater they have completely set up with a Wizard of Oz theme. I recommend this place also because they have some really amazing drinks. Also all there menu items have a play on words and have fun names in them as well such as Freddy Fingers (chicken strips) and one of their drinks is called the Bad Witch. I highly recommend next time you plan on going to dinner and a show or want drinks with your show to visit this theater it is simply amazing! http://www.hollywoodpalmscinema.com/ (link to check out show times)

Video Games and Movies

I found a new blog today about this kid who made a drinking game out of playing his video games so this link is for all you gamers out there. http://screwattack.com/blogs/Friday-Night-Beer-N-Game/Friday-Night-Beer-N-Game-8

This blog just proves that you can make anything into a drinking game. In his blog he talks about the rules to a drinking game that is based off of a video game. It is pretty in-depth and you should check it out it’s an idea that is different then you usual drinking games. This is good because it is good to change up from your regular games all the time. If you always play the same things you will get board after a while. So if you do not feel like going out or having a bunch of people over you can just have fun with a few. Also if it’s a holiday weekend where many people went home you can play a game similar to the one talked about in his blog. Also another option if you are not into video games that much like me is to do it with a movie and have certain words require you to do different things or drink. This can be as easy as drinking every time they say a main characters name or you can just pick random words. Games like these really do not have set rules since it depends on the game or the movie that you are playing. Get creative with it but be smart don’t chug a beer every time they say a main characters name this will not end in a good night for you at all as well as your guests.

Happy Thirsty Thursday and Friday is almost here!!!!
